  • The Bushnell Park Carousel This historic park is one of the oldest parks here in the United States.  It is 50 acres of beautiful green land where a vintage 1914 carousel stands.  The magnificent structure consists of 24 pavilion houses, 48 wooden horses that are hand carved, and two chariots for lovers that continuously spin around a majestic band organ. 

 

  • The Elizabeth Park Rose Gardens Fall in the City of Hartford is beautiful with much of its appeal being attributed to the astounding Elizabeth Park Rose Gardens.  The garden is donned with 15,000 rose bushes along with 800 varieties of both old and new roses.  A rustic gazebo lies within the garden walls and is a beautiful sight to see.  The garden blooms in the fall months, adding to the vibrant colors of the leaves while in spring it adds to the countless blossoming Connecticut trees.  To say it is a magnificent yet peaceful and relaxing sight to see falls short of the true experience. 


  • The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art The infamous Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art is the very first public art museum to make its presence known in the United States.  The museum offers greater than 50,000 unique pieces, including furnishings from the Pilgrim era and an array of American and European decorative art.  The museum is ideal for those who love modern art and design and for those who give favor to European Old Master paintings.  Known also for its beautiful annual Festival of Trees Exhibit, this majestic museum is a must see for anyone visiting the city


  • The XL Center – If you love live music, then Hartford is the place for you.  The highly popular and action-packed XL Center is not only a convention center but a majestic arena.  Second home to the Men’s and Women’s UConn basketball program and host to top-rated musicians, bands and entertainers, the XL Center has come to be known as the go to arena for all the very best sports and live musical events.  From country music to hard rock, from basketball to car shows, you are sure to enjoy any event at this state-of-the-art Hartford arena.
